Anyways, I think Adult Swim is great. It's how I, and many people I know, got into anime. not to mention countless others. You have to understand that many people automatically associate anime with Yugioh and Pokemon, and therefore refuse to give it a chance. The fans had to know that if anime got popular in America, it would lose some of it's value. Yes, we've dubbed it and butchered it and censored it, but it's brought a lot of anime to the fans in America. Whether it be figurines in Borders, DVD's in stores, clothes in Hot Topic, or shows on the air, we now have lots of anime here. Adult Swim at least deserves credit for that. Why, you ask? Well, the more people get into anime, the bigger the demand gets, the more anime becomes available. It's how the world works, a massive amount of people asking for anime is going to get more attention than a few people begging for it. Not everyone can download fansubs, or import anime. Many of us have to buy it at stores like Suncoast and Best Buy. There is more anime available on store shelves then ever before. That's because there are more fans than ever before.
Adult Swim may only air mainstream anime, but so many people have become fans through it, for that same reason. We have to understand, and not criticize the people who prefer dubs and only like the anime on Adult Swim. I know lots of people like that, I used to be like that! It's wrong to act as if they like anime any less than we do, just because they like a different kind.
Another thing is, I'm tired of all the hostility towards new Naruto fans. I just got into Naruto, and already I've had a few people act as if I'm some sort of bandwagon jumper. It was popular for a very long time before I became a fan, that's true. But I don't read Shonen Jump, and personally, I just thought it was overrated. But, since Fruits Basket volume 12 is never coming out, I gave it a chance. It turns out I love it. Just because I started reading it later, doesn't mean I'm less of a fan. It's unbelievable, really.

But some peole I've met DO whine about tiny things. I've met many people who whine about a dub that they haven't seen. That's just rediculous. :/ I guess I'm just a bit sick of the people who pass judgement before viewing the dub.

Well, for the most part, it's good. I get to help animals, which is always rewarding. I do see alot of different animals, although I don't specialize in the more exotic ones. Although I do remember helping a co-worker who does carry a huge snake!

The thing that would make me want to be an orthodontist? Well, you lost patients. It happens. There's no getting around it. And it always depresses me. Being an ortho, I wouldn't have to go through losing patients.
